ELECTRIFIED HAIR

2014/10/01

Do you ever feel like you are the pawn in some mad scientist's evil experiment? That your hair and the electricity it seems to attract could power a small country? Do you look like you've just seen a horrible ghost every time you take off that cute winter hat that you just bought? Well, join the club, during the winter months this is just part of life.

So lets de-electrify your locks. Start by using a clarifying shampoo once or twice a month. The rest of the time use a moisturizing shampoo. Also, be sure to deep condition your hair once or twice a week as well. And, like the shampoo, use a conditioner or detangler on the other days. The more moisture your hair has, the less likely it is to fly, but be sure not to over-condition, it will leave hair unmanageable. Style your do as usual. If you still end up with static, try using a detangler spray.. Check out the selection in the kids aisle. They come in fun bottles and smell great. Also try not to use blowdryer or hair straigtener because it makes your hair dryer and that causes our hair to be electrified and static
The most important tip for the winter months is to moisturize. As I mentioned earlier, a little moisture-good, a lot of moisture-not so good. All hair is different and responds to weather and environmental changes differently. Play around, try some of the tips mentioned in this article and see what works best for you. Keep wearing that wool and all of those cute hats, just be sure to combat winter hair problems before they get out of hand.

  1. Ou, kartais tai tokia kantinanti problema! Ypač žiemą. Tuomet žinau, jog metas į kirpyklą :D O patarimai tikrai geri, sakingas drėkinimas iš tiesų padeda :) Tik va kepurių negaliu prisiversti nešioti, net jei labai šalta :/
